Names.

What in the world makes people think that name-calling is okay?  Humor?? Popularity?? None of these things are excuses. There is absolutely nothing okay about being rude and hurtful and calling other people names.

We’ve all done it before. There’s nobody who’s not guilty to nodding in agreement or calling someone a name. But there are some people who take it to a point where it is ridiculous. Calling people the n-word and other slurs or racial hatred related phrases is not okay. Calling people a  f****t is not okay, and neither is any other derogatory term made to mock and LGBTQ members.

Names. Learn to call people their real names. Learn to call people smart, beautiful, leaders, clever, charming, kind, and sweet. Learn to call people their real names. We were not given names for the world to alter and change so they could make fun of us. We were given names simply as a label. And it is up to the person, and only the person, to shape how their name represents them.
